I envisioned a photograph involving a veil
before Katie arrived for her shoot. When she came wearing a dress with
lacy sleeves, it turned out to be the perfect element to fulfill my
vision.

The delicacy of this image reminds me of poem I wrote 25 years ago.
The hand that hovers touches with the most delicate fingers. Footsteps that linger outside the door excite the quietest desires. Most subtle are words that bring thougths without giving them. Most gentle are words that stir feelings without taking them. Thiis is the space where fullnesses meet: the verge and the emergence. The silent tingle that is held inside is the brightest, clearest laughter. It rings the farthest over the fields.
Enjoy, Susan
