Summer Glee E-mail
Image

I’ve been out and about.  These gleeful images are from the Renaissance Fair in Holly, Michigan.

Enjoy, Michael

Today you can almost hear each raindrop cry out with glee as it hits the pond like children launching themselves off a dock on a hot day. It’s the sparkle each drops catches as it throws a tiny splash in the air that makes it a joyful explosion. The drops twinkle on the pond in random patterns that make me think of lights in the night, sparks from bonfires, meadows full of fireflies or the twinkling lights of a city when you come over a hill and see it spread out below. Interesting how light bouncing affects us with a sense of comfort and joy. Like peek-a-boo for a child. Light, dark, light, dark, light, dark.

Enjoy, Susan
