This is the second installment of images from Yosemite. What a land of contrasts... withering dry heat and life giving liquid coolness, quietness made lucid by the occasional bird call and the thundering roar of water rushing wildly onward, howling winds and the lazy quiescence 'neath spreading branches and everywhere tough ancient rock and trees sporting colorful displays of ephemeral brilliance. Like some amazing baroque masterpiece with no beginning and no end.
